127 million people live in Japan and most people are living normal lives here, regardless of what you hear from the media.
Western Japan was not physically affected by the quake. Even Tokyo residents are amazed when they visit to see how unaffected Western Japan is.
Tokyo is also fine. 13 million people live there. It's just that they're a bit shaken by quite a few aftershocks. \o/
